Racehorse Fandom’s Royal Ascot Debut
Still riding high following victory at Thirsk Racecourse on Sunday 31st May, Volare racehorse Fandom, with trainer Richard Hannon, secured his place in the Wokingham Stakes at Ascot Racecourse. This marked his Royal Ascot Debut.
The race, which took place at 17:00 on Saturday 20th June, got off to a strong start for Fandom under the guidance of talented jockey Sean Levey. He led the pack for the first three quarts of the race before eventually finishing in 13th place.
Whilst the final result wasn’t quite what the team was hoping for, Fandom’s performance at such a prestigious event was a proud moment.
His next race is set to take place on Friday 26th June at Newcastle racecourse in the Jenningsbet in Bradford Gosforth Park Cup Handicap.
