As the official headline sponsor of the Sunrise Racing Team, we’ve been following the team’s progress throughout this year’s Cowes Week, with Sunrise finishing second overall in IRC Class 2.
A Week of Racing at Cowes Week
Cowes Week is one of the UK’s best-known sailing regattas, bringing hundreds of boats and thousands of sailors to the Solent each year. The racing takes place across a range of classes, with crews competing throughout the week in the waters around the Isle of Wight.
The 2026 edition was a particularly significant one, marking the 200th anniversary of Cowes Week. With the event now two centuries old, this year’s regatta brought together a large and highly competitive fleet for a week of racing, with the anniversary also providing an opportunity to celebrate the event’s long history.
For Sunrise, the focus was firmly on the racing. Competing as Sunrise by the Adventurer, the team was racing in IRC Class 2 against some extremely strong competition.
An Impressive Result for Sunrise
The Sunrise racing team had a strong week on the Solent, securing two race wins and ultimately finishing second overall in their class; another fantastic result for them, adding to an already impressive racing record.
There was also individual recognition for the Sunrise team during this year’s Cowes Week, with Zeb Fellows receiving the Youth Trophy.
For Volare, the result is another highlight from our partnership with Sunrise. As the team’s official headline sponsor, we’re proud to support their racing campaign and follow their progress across some of the most established events in the sailing calendar.
With Cowes Week now complete, we’re looking forward to seeing what comes next for the Sunrise Racing Team as their racing season continues.
