CHALLENGER 800

This state-of-the-art refurbishment project redefined a Bombardier Challenger 800, transforming it into a modern sanctuary in the sky with bespoke interiors, cutting-edge cabin technology, and handcrafted finishes throughout.

A Sanctuary in the Sky

The transformation of this Bombardier Challenger 800 was a labour of precision and passion, with hundreds of meticulous hours invested by the Volare design and engineering team. The result is a complete interior reimagining, one that blends cutting-edge luxury with tactile warmth, befitting a multi-million-pound aircraft designed to be as comfortable as it is contemporary.

At the heart of the refurbishment lies a commitment to material excellence. The seating has been reupholstered in supple Moore & Giles leather, offering both durability and understated elegance. The cabin flooring now features a plush Laneve New Zealand wool carpet in a refined ‘Foliage Grey’ palette, adding softness underfoot and tonal harmony throughout the space.

Both divans have been refitted with premium wool fabric in a neutral hue, delivering a soft, sophisticated finish that enhances the sense of calm and style on board. The result is a cabin that feels effortlessly modern, inviting, luxurious, and designed to make every journey feel like home in the sky.

“No detail is overlooked in the pursuit of the finest aircraft interiors—not even the curtain fabric, meticulously crafted in luxurious Loro Piana cashmere.”

“Unlike the common carbon fiber wraps or dips, this aircraft showcases genuine carbon fiber veneer, bringing the high-performance spirit of Formula 1 into the sky.”

“The single colour fibre on the carpet creates a clean, elevated aesthetic”

A Bold New Approach to Carbon Fiber in Private Jets

Beyond the world of Formula 1, carbon fiber is often applied as a wrap or dip, an economical shortcut that lacks authenticity. For this aircraft, the design team chose a different path: every inch of carbon fiber is genuine veneer, a painstaking investment running into hundreds of thousands of pounds.

The result is a striking balance of cutting-edge technology and refined comfort. Paired thoughtfully with sumptuous, soft luxury fabrics, the cabin exudes a modern, dynamic energy—breaking free from the traditional wood grains typically seen in private jets. The overall effect is unmistakably bespoke, effortlessly elevating the interior to a new standard of sophistication.
